February 20, 2020: Week 2 Geo-conquest

This week we will seek to Open minds Make connections Be inspired through the lens of Geo-Conquest as we study the principle of  "A good leader has good character" As we look around the world, we can see examples of people demonstrating the character of good leadership not only in many countries but in many different ways.  This week, think about the examples of leadership you find in our study of Africa, it's history and people and add another column to your T-chart! February 6, 2020: Week 1 Leadership Academy

This week we will seek to Open minds Make connections Be inspired through the lens of Leadership Academy as we study the principle of " A good leader has good character " Reporter: "What is the worst disease that you know of?"  Mother Theresa: "Loneliness" OPEN YOUR MIND  What is a leader? More importantly, what makes up the character of a good  leader? (if you have time, check out the fundamental, short essay: "The Core and Crust of Leadership" by Timothy Clarke here ) Watch this video and ask yourself the following questions: Is this woman a leader?
