Buchanan Inspirements - Eureka!

Malia:

Some patterns aren't always all the same, like the fly swatter:

It has different lines that make it a pattern.  It's still a pattern, even if it's not perfectly symmetrical.

Patterns can also be 3 dimensional like this star decoration:

It has a bunch of pyramid shapes all put together into a star.

This has diagonal lines kinds of like the spirals in the video.

Kai:
This towel has parallel seams that alternate

This leaf has parallel veins running from the top to the bottom.

The ball has rope wrapping horizontally around it as well as diagonal twists so it's a double pattern.

  1. Way to look for those patterns in unlikely places...and to take a picture of it! Two skills at once. Good for you!

    1. And my kids all thought they were really cool. Piper likes the rope ball and the towel. Maia really liked the very first one. Mary also really like the pattern of the blinds that complemented the veinage of the plant. Hyrum likes the rope ball, fly swatter and the door mat...they look cool. You guys caught some great shadow with it!
